Recursos da placa CGA-FPGA

Depois de tanto falar da placa CGA-FPGA, seguem algumas especificações preliminares:

Preliminary Specifications:

- The CGA-FPGA is an integration module based on a Lattice LFXP Instant On series Flash FPGA (LFXP3 or LFXP6 with 144 pins PQFP package). In addition to a high gate-count device (3100 to 5800 LUTs), the CGA-FPGA utilizes the high transfer rate parallel port to JTAG for configuration downloads enabling an almost instant reprogramming of the FPGA. For flexible clocking, two clock inputs can be used to generate clock frequencies (external crystal oscillators. If higher frequencies are needed, the clock multipliers in the FPGA can be used.

Prototyping and OEM Integration:

- The CGA-FPGA is ideally suited to prototype systems and integration into OEM devices where a PS/2 mouse/keyboard, CGA out connector with VGA support and parallel port interfaces, were flexible hardware configuration will be need. And a useful PC software interface.

Professional, Students and Hobbyists:

- The CGA-FPGA is also great for students and hobbyists who would like to learn more about FPGAs and investigate their possibilities through the convenience of a PC. It's small size and large GPIO interface pins makes it ideal for integration into a large number of projects and it's low cost means it won't break the bank.

Features:

- The CGA-FPGA board provides users many features to enable various multimedia project development. Component selection was made according to the most popular design in volume production multimedia products such as video frame-buffer interface and MP3 players. It’s Single-Chip Solution Eliminates Need for Boot PROM or External Storage Device, simplifying design process with reduced board space and improved reliability.

SUN concorda em comprar o banco de dados MySQL por US$ 1.000.000.000,00 "in cash" e opções de ações.

Sun Microsystems announced this morning that it has agreed to acquire open source database leader MySQL AB for $1 billion in cash and assumed stock options. (Disclosure: I am on the board of directors of MySQL, and O'Reilly co-produces the MySQL User Conference with MySQL. In addition, O'Reilly produces the java.net community site for Sun.)

Trilhas... trilhas... trilhas...

Tô que não me "güento" mais. Fazer revisão e redesenho do layout cansa!
